Nova Ordem Marcial

Nova Ordem Marcial (Portuguese for New Martial Order) is an educational video miniseries about music, written and produced for CCCOP TV in 2023.

The show is intended for people of all ages and backgrounds, and to help conveying its message to a wider audience, it takes place in a fictional utopia where thanks to musical knowledge transmitted by bioluminescent extraterrestrial beings Humanity was able achieve a state of global peace, happiness, and financial success, marking the begining of a new era called Neoharmony. To avoid the degeneration of neoharmonic music into Phillarmony, these beings founded the International Agency for Neoharmony, an institution that regulates all aspects of musical expression.

The episodes themes range from music history, education, creation, and social functions, and finishes with a glimpse of present developments in music that are shaping our future.
